The Editorial Team at JUME embraces the idea that theory and practice are inextricably linked, and can work together in a multiplicity of ways. We welcome submissions from emerging and noted scholars whose research in the urban domain offers important and innovative contributions to the theory and practice of mathematics teaching, learning, and policy.
An emphasis will be placed on submissions that bring to the fore strength and successes in urban communities, shedding light on the complexities of scholarship, teaching, and learning of mathematics. Submissions with extensions into other STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, and Engineering) are welcomed. We invite manuscripts utilizing a variety of methodologies and frameworks, including empirical, policy, and theoretical.
Deadlines: Open Submission – Manuscripts to be considered for Spring/Summer publication should be submitted on or before December 1. Manuscripts to be considered for Fall/Winter publication should be submitted on or before May 1. (For complete details regarding polices and submissions please see About.)
